7th Gen AMD PRO A8-9600B APU vs 6th Gen AMD PRO A8-8600B APU: comparison
Comparison of 7th Gen AMD PRO A8-9600B APU and 6th Gen AMD PRO A8-8600B APU: key differences and a full specification table.
Key differences
7th Gen AMD PRO A8-9600B APU has a higher base clock (2.4 GHz vs 1.6 GHz) and a higher maximum clock (3.3 GHz vs 3 GHz).
Both processors match on: core count (4), TDP (15 W), process node (28 nm), memory channels (2), maximum integrated graphics clock (720 MHz).
These are specification values: they show differences between the models but do not determine a performance winner. For a specific workload, rely on independent benchmarks.
